[02] How to use it
Start fresh or bring your files
Create a notebook, or import a docx you already have. Tags, cites, and highlighting come across as real cards, not flattened text.
Pull in evidence
Send cards from Search, Mine, or Counter into any notebook. They stream in as they finish and can be sorted under your existing headings automatically.
Write around them
Drag any block to reorder it, add analytics between cards, and use the block menu to duplicate, move, or retag a card.
Take it into round
Open Present mode for a clean read-aloud view, or share a read-only link with your partner.
A card is not just formatted text here. It knows its tag, its cite, its source, and which words are highlighted. That is why it can be retagged, inspected, or moved between files without breaking, and why the same card can live in more than one notebook without being cut twice.

The structure you already use
Pockets, hats, blocks, tags, cites, and analytics work the way they do in Verbatim, with a slash menu to insert any of them and a navigation panel to jump around a long file.
Present mode
One click strips a file down to what you actually read aloud: headings, tags, cite lines, highlighted evidence, and analytics. Everything else disappears until you are done.
Version history
Every notebook keeps its history. Preview an older version and restore it if a late-night edit went wrong.
Retag in place
Do not like a tag? Regenerate it from the card's own evidence in a different style or length without re-cutting the card.
Copy formatting
Copy a card's font, highlight color, and text sizes and paste them onto any other card, in this file or a different one.
Share a read-only link
Send a notebook to a partner or a judge with a link that expires, and revoke it whenever you want.
